Ocean City MD - Monday 10-30-17 pics

Monday was insane. Forecast was 4-7 foot with stiff offshores. Got up and the cams looked like 2-4 with just CRAZY offshores blowing the tops of the lines out to sea. Went to work. By 3:00, it seemed like the winds were letting up and the tide was coming in so potential. Checked Naval Jetty. stomach high sand grinders, 10 guys out, looked ridiculous. (I later found out it got better but the lineup went aggro).

Rolled south to OC expecting unridable dumpers. It was the opposite....perfectly shaped head high rights just a-framing and throwing easy barrels. About as user friendly as head high barreling OC gets. Super fun session, got out while the sun was still out, shot these around 5:30.

I would have surfed longer, but didn't know any of the kids in the lineup. Felt weird...best waves ive seen in months and I didn't know anyone around me. Still....it was the best ive seen it in months.
